In this photo, Natalie and Lindsey are sharing earbuds to listen to a song. They need device that allows them to more comfortably share the music.

In this photo, Harry is listening to a song on his own. The room is loud, and he can't hear the music too well. He needs louder or noise-cancelling earbuds.

Here a group of friends is listening to and pondering the meaning of music. Speakers do a good job of allowing everyone to listen to music together, but it's a bummer to have a computer or ipod controlling the speakers because someone has to getup every time he/she wants to change the song. A remote would be useful.

In this photo, yours truly is putting the finishing touches on a nice shrimp dinner. Music was playing in the background (who doesn't like listening to music while cooking), and in this situation, because my hands are getting dirty, I think the best interface is voice-based. Sadly, my house doesn't have that kind of technology, and I had to clean my hands whenever I wanted to change a song.

My brother and I were driving to the mountains for a camping trip. We were listening to some techno on the ride up. It turns out there still doesn't exist a great way, with older cars (like ours) to interface an iPod with the speaker system... So we were using CD's. Possible area for innovation? I think so.
