My device is a "portable turntable" - it takes the idea of a personal music player even further by being a personal music performance. The device simulates the physical motions of operating a real turntable: you hold the device in your hand and move it in the same directions you would move a real record. The instantaneous and global play speeds are controllable through two motion axes. Here are the diagrams:

I really like this... it sounds like it'd be a lot of fun. Is there some way to turn off the tilting input, if you want to lock in the play speed?
